.......Lisa was born and brought up on the Lizard peninsula in Cornwall. The youngest daughter of artistic parents, she had a very creative upbringing. An early interest in jewellery making, specifically in precious metals, led her to pursue a journey of jewellery related work and travel that eventually led to Birmingham School of Jewellery. After a two year intensive traditional training, including a brief introduction to blacksmithing, she went on to work for Surrey Blacksmith, Nikki Blake. She returned to Cornwall and set up a jewellery business, selling through local galleries and taking commissions. After two years she took a year away from her business to study Blacksmithing at Herefordshire College of Technology. It was during this time that she participated in many community forging projects around the UK, North America and France.

In 2008, she returned to Cornwall once again and set up the forge, alongside her jewellery workshop.

..... In her forge, near Falmouth in Cornwall, Lisa creates a range of interior hardware, unique artistic ironwork and contemporary jewellery. She continues to teach Blacksmithing Workshops. Recent projects include a 'Living History' project with Cape Cornwall school children. Funded by the Landmark Trust, she has spent time on Lundy Island in the Bristol Channel, helping to renovate their forge. She has regularly demonstrated and exhibited her work at local design fairs, contemporary craft shows and agricultural shows. This includes the Royal Cornwall Show, where she has competed against other blacksmiths, and taken several first and second prizes for 'live forging'. She has also travelled to Vancouver Island, Canada to work with architectural blacksmith, Jake James.
